Updating Your Profile

Updating Your Profile

Change your name, email address, or timezone.

Your profile information — name, email, and timezone — can be updated at any time from the My Account page.

Navigating to My Account

Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner, then select My Account.

Profile Information fields

NameYesYour display name. Appears in the platform navigation, on requests you have submitted, in approval history, and in notification emails.
EmailYesYour sign-in identifier and the address where DiscountFlow sends notifications. Must be unique across all users.
TimezoneNoControls how dates and times are displayed to you throughout the app. All data is stored in UTC; this setting converts it to your local time for display.

Updating your name

  1. Click the Name field.
  2. Enter your updated name.
  3. Click Update Details.

Updating your email address

  1. Click the Email field.
  2. Enter your new email address.
  3. Click Update Details.

Your email is updated immediately upon saving. Unlike some platforms, there is no separate email confirmation step — the change takes effect right away. Make sure the new address is correct before saving.

If you use Google sign-in (SSO), changing your email to one that does not match your organization's Google domain may affect your ability to sign in via Google. Verify the new address works before relying on it.

Updating your timezone

  1. Click the Timezone dropdown.
  2. Search for or scroll to your timezone.
  3. Select it and click Update Details.

Once saved, dates and times throughout the app — such as request dates and notification timestamps — will be displayed in your selected timezone.
