Editing a Product
Update the details of an existing product.

You can edit any active product directly from the product list. Soft-deleted products cannot be edited until they are restored.
Opening the edit modal
- Go to Manage Products in the sidebar.
- Find the product you want to update.
- Click the three-dot actions menu (⋮) in the product's row.
- Select Edit....
The Edit Product Details modal opens, pre-filled with the product's current values.
Editable fields
All fields from the Add form are available for editing:
| Field | Description |

| Part Number | The product's unique identifier. Changing this updates references on existing request details automatically. |
| Description | Free-text description of the product. |
| Model / Category | The category this product belongs to. Changing the category will reload the List Price from the new category's base price. |
| List Price | Read-only. Updates automatically if the category is changed. |
| MSRP | Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. |
| MOQ | Minimum Order Quantity. |
| Tariff Surcharge (%) | Additional percentage surcharge for tariffs. |
| Allow Tariff | Toggle to allow tariffs to affect pricing. Visible only to users with an approval level assigned. |
Saving changes
Click Update Details to save. The modal closes and the product list refreshes with the updated values.
When a Part Number is changed, existing request detail records that reference the old Part Number are updated automatically to the new value.
