Inviting a Team Member
Send an invitation to add a new member to your organization.
New members join your organization by accepting an invitation sent to their email address. Invitations are managed from the General tab in Settings.
Who can invite members
Inviting members requires the Manage Users permission. If you have this permission, you will see the Invite User button in the team members section.
Seat limits
You can only invite new members if your subscription has available seats. If the seat limit has been reached — accounting for both active members and pending invitations — the invite action will fail with a seat limit error. Add more seats on the Subscription tab before inviting.
The base plan includes 5 seats. Additional seats can be purchased from the Subscription tab.
Sending an invitation
- Go to Settings → General.
- Click Invite User above the team members table.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Click Send Invitation.
An invitation email is sent to that address with a link to accept and join the organization. The invite appears in the team members table with an Invited badge and shows the expiry time.
What happens when the invite is accepted
The invitee clicks the link in their email, creates or signs into their account, and is added to your organization as a Member. They then appear as an active member in the team table.
Pending invitations
Pending invitations appear in the team members table below active members. Each shows the invitee's email address, an Invited role badge, and the time remaining before the invitation expires.
An invitation sent to an email address that already belongs to an active member of your organization will be rejected.
Revoking an invitation
To cancel a pending invitation before it is accepted:
- Find the invitation row in the team members table.
- Click the actions menu (⋮) in that row.
- Select Revoke Invitation.
The invitation is deleted immediately. The link in the invitee's email will no longer work.
