Request Custom Fields Tab

Request Custom Fields Tab

Add custom fields to the request form using the form builder.

Last updated: Jun 30, 2026

The Request Custom Fields tab contains a form builder where you configure additional fields that appear on the discount request form. Use this to capture information specific to your organization's workflow that isn't covered by the standard request fields.

Navigating to this tab

Go to Settings and click the Request Custom Fields tab. This tab requires the Custom Fields permission. If you have the permission but it is set to read-only, you can view the current configuration but cannot make changes.

The form builder

The form builder uses a two-column block layout. Each block you add becomes a field on the request form. You can add, configure, reorder, and remove fields.

Supported field types

The form builder supports multiple field types including:

  • Text input
  • Dropdown / select
  • Date picker
  • Number input
  • Checkbox / toggle
  • Text area

Adding a field

Click the add block or field button in the form builder. Select a field type, then configure the field's label, placeholder text, and whether it is required or optional.

Reordering fields

Fields can be dragged to reorder them. The order in the builder is the order they appear on the request form.

Removing a field

Click the remove or delete action on a field block to remove it from the form. Removing a field does not delete data already saved on existing requests — it only hides the field from new requests going forward.

Saving changes

Click Save in the command bar at the top right of the page. Changes take effect immediately on the request form for all new requests.

Saving while team members are actively filling out a request form may cause their in-progress form to reload. Avoid making changes during peak usage if possible.
