Using the Date Range Filter

Using the Date Range Filter

Filter Dashboard data by selecting a custom date range.

Last updated: Jun 16, 2026

Every metric, chart, and table on the Dashboard is scoped to a date range. The date range filter lets you focus on any time period — a specific week, the previous quarter, or a custom window you define.

Default range

When you open the Dashboard without selecting a range, it defaults to the last 30 days ending today. All metric counts and chart data reflect activity within that window.

Setting a custom date range

The date range picker is in the top-right area of the Dashboard, in the command bar.

  1. Click the date range control.
  2. Select a start date (From) and an end date (To).
  3. The page updates automatically — all metric cards, charts, and tables refresh to show data within the selected range.

The start date is inclusive from the beginning of that day. The end date is inclusive through the end of that day.

What the date range affects

The date range filter applies to everything on the Dashboard:

  • Request status counts (Active, Pending, Denied, Approved)
  • Average Sale and Average Discount
  • Sales per Day chart
  • Approved Sales by Sales Person chart
  • Products Approved count
  • Average Sale by Region table

Things to keep in mind

  • The date range is not saved between sessions. Returning to the Dashboard resets it to the default 30-day window.
  • The filter applies to both the My Analytics and Company Analytics views simultaneously.
