Reviewing and Approving a Request

Reviewing and Approving a Request

Open a submitted request, review the details, and approve it.

Last updated: Jul 2, 2026

Reviewers are users with an approval level assigned to their account. When a request is submitted, it becomes visible to reviewers whose approval level covers the requested price range.

Who can review requests

To review and approve requests you must have:

  • An approval level assigned to your account (set in Settings → General → Team Members), and
  • The approval level's price thresholds must cover the price range of the request being reviewed

Alternatively, users with the approve requests permission can review requests regardless of approval level thresholds.

Finding requests to review

Submitted requests appear in the Active Requests list. You can see requests submitted by other team members if your account has an approval level or the view-all permission.

Requests waiting for review show a status of Submitted or Pending in the Status column.

Opening a request for review

Click the Requested By name or the Project Name link in the Active Requests list to open the request details view.

Reviewing the request

The request details view shows:

  • All header information (project name, customer, dates, sales region, type)
  • The product lines being quoted, including the requested price and calculated discount percentage for each line
  • Any custom fields configured by your organization

Review the requested prices against your organization's pricing policy and approval thresholds.

Starting the review

When you open a submitted request as a reviewer, the system records the review start and the request status changes to Pending.

Approving the request

Click Approve on the request details view. The request status changes to Approved and moves to the Approved Requests list. The requestor is notified based on your organization's notification settings.

An approved request is read-only. The pricing details are locked at the approved values.
